In order to ensure self-employment of women through information technology and their sustainable empowerment as entrepreneurs, the Department of Information and Communication Technology has already completed a 5-month training for a total of 580 women in 6 categories in Sadar, Lama and Rowangchhari upazilas of Bandarban Hill District through the "Har Power Project: Empowering Women with the Help of Technology" project. About 160 trainees are earning through freelancing.
The trained female trainees are being provided with necessary guidance and encouragement to increase their income through freelancing.
